WIC Farmers Market Checks
WIC Fruit and Vegetable Checks
and Senior FMNP (Farmers' Market Nutrition Program) Checks

California farmers provide nutritious foods to families throughout the state, the nation, and the world. The WIC Program supports the consumption of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, and encourages shopping at farmers’ markets. The WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and the Fruit and Vegetable Check (FVC) program provide increased access to fresh, nutritious, locally grown fruits and vegetables from farmers' markets to WIC families. WIC Farmers' Market checks and FMNP checks are accepted at all 5 NCGA farmers' markets in Eureka, McKinleyville, Willow Creek and Arcata. NCGA does not distribute these checks.

*New for 2017WIC Fruit and Vegetable Checks can now be spent at all NCGA farmers' markets, as well as the farmers' markets in Fortuna and Garberville. Use these checks directly with the farmers at the market. Follow all the same procedures you would in the grocery store. Checks can only be used for fruits and vegetables.
