The U.S. Department of Agriculture has just released a new version of their "plant hardiness zone map" a very useful tool for home gardeners and farmers. The new map offers Geographic Information System-based interactive format and is specifically designed to be internet-friendly. The new map is available at Plant Hardiness Zone Map
